The 2023 San Diego Lunar New Year Festival is a cultural, free event scheduled on the weekend of January 20-22, 2023 at the Jeremy Henwood Park located on 4455 Wightman Street, San Diego.

The festival will include folk and traditional performances, arts and cultural exhibitions, lion dances and firecrackers, and plenty of family fun activities for the kids. More importantly, all proceeds from this year’s festival will be used toward the construction of the Boat People Garden, a community mini park to be built at the corner of El Cajon Blvd. and Chamoune Ave. The groundbreaking for this park tentatively will be on January 25th, that Wednesday after the festival.
